BACKSTORY
Mason Gerendale was born in october 13 1982 into a poor family. His child life was pretty normal and he joined the military in 2001, Mason joined the military when the Afghanistan war started. Most of the mission didnt effect him much, he knew he was killing people but he knew it was for the right reason. There was one mission that changed Mason for the rest of his life.
Mason and his squad were being deployed in a mountainous terrain to scout a terrorist filled area to ambush it with a tank. Things went south and as soon as the tank arrived Mason and his squad were spotted, the terrorists hijacked the tank and began shooting at mason and his squad. Masons squad members were massacred, their intestines dropping out of their abdomen, their flesh tearing off with skin blown all over the field with organs and severed limbs. Mason lost his mind. Mason grabbed an rpg from a dead terrorist and shot the tank with it, the rocket hit and destroyed the tank. Mason grabbed his dead teammates lmg an killed all of the terrorists. After the battle Mason was given the purple heart and was honorably discharged.
THE AFFECT OF WAR
Went mason was discharged in 2003 he could still see his last battle as if it were still happening, Mason couldn't stop seeing the gruesomely massacred carcasses of his dead squad members. Mason tore a piece of cloth and painted a skull on it and used it as a mask, he bought a brown hooded trench coat and kept his military knife and revolver he used in the military. Mason was quite poor so he began to rob people in alleyways and commit burglary. He started murdering people because he saw them as terrorists murdering his squad members.
POTENTIAL
Mason woke up in a mansion on a nicely made bed, he didnt know what was going on so he decided to look around. A tall figure appeared infront of Mason. "who are you said mason", "i am slenderman" said slenderman " do you know why your here?". "no i dont know why im here" mason said "its because you have potential" slenderman said.
