  • Since normal sysops have the ability to give rollback, RCaDC, and Chat Mod, I've decided to assign certain applications of rank to certain admins. Obviously, I will be the one reviewing applications universally, mainly Sysop and B'crat, but there will two admins to each of the ranks I've mentioned.

    • Applications for Chat Moderator: Rickomarow and Fatal Disease
    • Applications for Rollback: Metafawker and I, Da Cashman
    • Applications for RCaDC: SOMEGUY123 and another admin.
    • Applications for Administrator: Me and LOLSKELETONS (when/if he is active)
    • Applications for Bureaucrat: Me and LOLSKELETONS (when/if he is active)

    Application Review Guidelines

The reviewing admin must check on the application's validity. This includes contributions, activity time, and Prerequisites.

The user's activity level must also be checked. They must have made those three hundred edits recently for RCaDC, for example, not a year ago.

RCaDC must have tangible proof of approval by two admins. Since RCaDC's rank itself doesn't include rollback, ROLLBACK SHOULD NOT BE REVOKED.

They must also have a reason. WHY do they want/need the rights? If there isn't one, then one must be careful when dealing with the app.

The admins are not in charge of demotions unless absolutely necessary. However, they may discuss doing so with me or LOLSKELETONS if he is active. In the event that you as an admin must revoke an RCaDC/Chat Mod/Rollback rank, you must leave a message on their talk page explaining why they were demoted.

    Demotion reasons:

    • Excessive Inactivity.
    • Abuse of Rights.
    • Violation of a rule that is applied to that rank.
    • Excess vandalism/pointsgaming.

Because you don't like that person or think they are unfit just because IS NOT a reason for demotion. However, you may temporarily revoke rights, with the option of the user being demoted having the ability to request them back in an appropriate time. If they do not, they will have to reapply.

    Staff Member discussion

If you feel uncomfortable discussing with me about a demotion, then you may speak to SOMEGUY123 or LOLSKELETONS. They will bring it up to me or, in the case of Skelly, take care of it himself.

This is due to SG being a bureacrat ranked staff member on the network as well.

    • Well...

      /insert *not bad* meme/

But rollback shouldn't really be revoked if a user is inactive, though. Because it's just a useless right. It only comes with a rollback button, which can be helpful. But other than that, it's just a pointless right to be revoked. Unless if they started rollbacking GOOD edits, then I can see why.

ADDING ON TO IT, SINCE I THOUGHT OF THIS LAST MINUTE: I would like to aide SOMEGUY with the RCaDC apps. Since I do tend to get bored from time to time.

      Moderator Requirements

If you are required then make a subpage.

      Thank you, Fatal.

A sysop is an administrator. They can delete pages, undelete, protect, and view pages that were deleted.

Oh, OK. I know what an admin is, I just wasn't familiar with that term. I assume it's an abbreviation for "system operator" or something along those lines?
