Note: This is a creepypasta based on a video made by Enderman (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPQQVMwOEc0) The story will be told in Enderman's point of view.
Chapter 1: Cortana[]
Today, I had to throw away my laptop. All because of that stupid Discord kid. I'll explain. One day I was trying to see if Cortana could be deleted, I hate that program. But then I realized it was impossible. I decided to go on Discord for help. Some kid said he had a tool for that, and attached an image of a program called "WinCustomize.exe". I asked if he could send it to me. He did so, and I downloaded the program. He also told me to disable my antivirus as it might trigger as a false positive. You might've thought that would be a red flag, but that has been common with programs. After that I double clicked the program, terrible mistake.
Chapter 2: Payload[]
When I double clicked the program, I saw this weird fire thing background. However, my laptop restarted so I waited. After so, I was going to log back in, but I didn't see my normal profile picture and name. I saw this deep fried basic user icon with a red background. It was named "NO ESCAPE". I felt so stupid. I should've not listened to that stupid Discord kid. There were other profiles as well, all of them having the same icon but with gibberish usernames. I tried to log in but the keyboard wouldn't work, except for some keys. I typed in "death" hoping that would be the password, and I was correct. I got back in but there were notes everywhere, they all read "YOUR COMPUTER IS MINE. YOU CAN NOT GET RID OF THIS MALWARE." I opened up the command prompt, but it said that it was disabled by my administrator. I quickly deleted the random notes. I thought to myself "Stupid Discord kids. I guess I'll reinstall Windows now." And so I did.
Chapter 3: Zip Zip[]
I logged back in, but when I did so, my stuff was bouncing around the place. I didn't know how this kid did this. I was panicking. I reinstalled Windows again. Windows might've accidently not have removed the malware that could do this.
Chapter 4: Fred Durst[]
I logged back in again. Everything seemed normal. However, when I went to click on Google Chrome, it said gave me a warning and it said "Message from Fred Durst: fred durst says: no computer for today silly boy go outside to play". I clicked on "This PC" and it opened. I tried to open one of my other programs, got the warning message again. Weird.
Chapter 5: Deep Fry[]
When I logged in, my screen got deep fried. I didn't even know that was possible. It kept getting deep fried and I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I have never seen malware similar to this. Soon it got faster, I couldn't do anything. Later I reinstalled Windows.
Chapter 6: Last Moments[]
Once I did so, I was met with the same red fire background. Later a notepad was pulled up and wrote the following:
THERE IS NO ESCAPE NOW.
DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THIS WINDOW, YOUR COMPUTER IS NOW DONE FOR ANYWAY.
DO YOU WANT TO ENJOY THE LAST MINUTES USING YOUR COMPUTER?
I wrote "yes" next to the last line, and it wrote:
GOOD LUCK.
It opened up task manager, command prompt, and paint. The screen was getting deep fried again. I tried to find the malware using Command Prompt to open up File Explore and I found it. But when I deleted it, my laptop displayed the Blue Screen of Death. I thought to myself, "Was I too late? Did me deleting the malware cause the crash?" I closed my laptop, took it outside, and threw it away. Well there goes a thousand dollars.
Moral of the story, don't download stuff from random people on Discord.
