But you won't know if something that deserves to be in Suggested Reading is in it unless you DO read every article, if you wipe it. You say your goal is to improve SR, but that's not what you're doing. You can't be bothered to improve it so you're just emptying it and hoping things work out. You're throwing it completely to the wind instead of just reviewing what's in it. If you're worried about SR lining up with the updates to the site, you should update the site first before touching it. There's NO benefit to wiping it like you're doing.
But it doesn't seem like you wanted any feedback from other staff, as I gave you my recommendation and you completely ignored it and kept going. I'm not going to clean up your mess.
I already have a starting basis as to what will go back into SR. I'm simply taking the current easiest route. I'll make a list of articles that will be going back into it, as well as any new articles. Simply put, there is no mess to worry about. I have it planned out.
Perhaps it may not be the best route, but right now it seemed to be the simplest route without reflecting poorly on the site.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong here, Xel. I trust your advice and I'm taking it into consideration. You're right; I can't read every article on site. Part of the reason I opted to wipe SR was so that it, with the rest of the site, could be overhauled entirely. Even if you don't agree entirely with my methods, I hope you'll help me out in other areas of the site. I didn't come back to let site stuff get in the way of friendships I've made on site; I had enough of that when I first left.
